Emerald - Pantone Color of 2013

 Last December, Pantone reveled that Emerald Green was the color of 2013. I'm pretty excited coming into 2013 with Emerald being this year’s color. Not only is emerald my birthstone, but green used to be my favorite color when I was younger. Thinking about green in regards to fashion, the first thing that came to my mind was Keira Knightley’s green dress in Atonement. This dress is the most gorgeous shade of green I have ever seen in a gown. I think that is partly why this dress is so popular, not only is the design beautiful, but the color really makes it memorable. Also shown are a few other items that are emerald green for 2013. 

A Brand New Year

Well what better way to celebrate the start of a brand new year then to wear a new pair of shoes? My sister bought me these Jeffery Campbell wedges for Christmas when Solestruck was having their Cyber Monday sale. I love how comfortable they are. I found them to be more comfortable then my pair of Litas, which hurt my feet after 3 hours of wear. I could never understand how people think that they are a comfortable shoe and that they can walk in them all day. Anyways, I hope all of you are having a great start to your new year and if you start school soon like I do, I hope u have a great quarter or semester!

Merry Christmas! I hope all of you are having a gret time with your families and loved ones. Well, this is my Christmas outfit. Can you tell I love the color purple? Anyways, I'm sad that Christmas is over but I'm looking forward to New Years Eve! Well I'm going to keep this post short but, I hope all of you are having a wonderful Christmas!

 I have noticed that during these colder months I pretty much live in my black boots. Whatever I am putting an outfit together, I always work around these boots. When I bought these boots 3 years ago, I never expected I would wear them as much as I do. The fact that they can go with absolutely everything has made them my favorite pair of shoes that I own. I am dreading the day when these boots become so worn out that I would have to get rid of them. I already need to look into getting them repaired soon.

2012 Disneyland Candlelight Ceremony and Processional

Earlier this week I went to  Disneyland to attend the Candlelight Ceremony and Processional. 

Ive never been to Disneyland for this event before so I was really excited when my boyfriend 

won tickets to it. The day I went it was quite cold so I decided to wear a lot of layers to keep 

myself warm. 

The candlelight ceremony was absolutely beautiful. A large choir, orchestra, and the Disney trumpeters preformed Christmas songs while a narrator told the story of the first Christmas. Molly Ringwald was the narrator at the performance I went to. Overall, It was a really beautiful event. The orchestra played beautifully and the choir sang great.

The Killers San Diego Concert

Well this outfit was what I wore to The Killers concert I went to on Friday. I went to the 91X Wrex the Halls Concert event which was at San Diego State University. The Killers were the headlining band and the bands playing before them were Audio Addiction, Young Blood Hawke, Imagine Dragons, The Joy Formidable, Tegan and Sara, Passion Pit and M83. I have to say it was amazing because hearing the Killers live is always great but this was one of the worst yet it was also one of the best concert experiences I've ever had. This is a long story but here is what happened...
