Black Boots

 I have noticed that during these colder months I pretty much live in my black boots. Whatever I am putting an outfit together, I always work around these boots. When I bought these boots 3 years ago, I never expected I would wear them as much as I do. The fact that they can go with absolutely everything has made them my favorite pair of shoes that I own. I am dreading the day when these boots become so worn out that I would have to get rid of them. I already need to look into getting them repaired soon.

101 Degrees

The temperature where I live has been extremely hot this week. Today was 101 degrees and it is supposed to be in the hundreds for the rest of this week. Although I prefer hot weather to cold, this is just way too hot. So to dress for school, I have been wearing anything that will keep me cool and something that is super casual.

My first week of school has been going really good so far. This quarter there wasn't a class that I was especially excited about, but so far after going to each class this week, I'm pretty happy with all of them. One class that I am especially excited about is my Sales and Events Promotion class. In this class we are planning the Fashion's Night Out runway show for Riverside, Calif. I'm mostly excited because I will be helping with the model casting and the styling for the show. Im really interested in getting some experience in both of these things so I was glad that I have the opportunity to do this for the show.

Anyways, this week has been extremely good because the Killers newest single released on Tuesday!! I honestly am so excited because this is their first new song in 4 years (not counting their Christmas songs). I have been playing this song on repeat all week! I cant wait for their newest album Battle Born to come out in September!

Spring Afternoon

Earlier this week I was going through my closet and choosing the items I do not wear anymore so I can donate them. While I was going through my closet I came across this skirt that I got it a few years ago from H&M on Black Friday.  For some reason I only wore it a few times and forgot about it. When I found this skirt I could not believe why I don't wear it more often so I decided to wear this skirt since the temperature has been getting warmer.  Anyways, I hope all of you are having a great Easter!

Saturday

Today I had to go to an outdoor party and I wanted to dress nice but not too formal since everyone else was going to dress casual. I decided to wear this white blouse I got at H&M, black pants, and black lace up boots. But I felt like I looked too much like a pirate with my flowy white top and my boots so I decided to wear this  fake leather vest to  make my outfit look less like I was dressing up for Halloween.

Meteor

I was at TJ Maxx looking at their sunglass rack; since I had found the michael Kors sunglasses the week before, I was curious to see if they had anything else good. As I was looking I came across these Meteor Ray Ban sunglasses. I was really excited because my TJ Maxx hardly ever has Ray Bans, and the ones that they do have are aviators and aviators dont really look good on me. 

So when I saw these I noticed that they are kind of similar to wayfarers I got excited. I already have a white pair of wayfarers and they are my favorite pair of sunglasses that I own. I was even considering to buy an other pair in another color since I wear them so much. 

 I paied $60 for these sunglasses. I thought the price was pretty high considering I got my Michael Kors sunglasses for only $20. But I know that these originally retail at about $140 (i think thats around how much I paid for my wayfarers) so I knew that I was paying half price for these which I still was a pretty good deal since I never see these at my TJ Maxx.
