For this outfit, I mixed a girly floral skirt with tough shoes and jacket. This leather jacket has been a staple item in my wardrobe for months now. I love how they can make a causal outfit look more put together and edgy. I have also been loving embellished collars. Weather it is covered in studs, like mine, or is covered in beads or sequins, I love how they can instantly transform any collard shirt.

Emerald - Pantone Color of 2013

 Last December, Pantone reveled that Emerald Green was the color of 2013. I'm pretty excited coming into 2013 with Emerald being this year’s color. Not only is emerald my birthstone, but green used to be my favorite color when I was younger. Thinking about green in regards to fashion, the first thing that came to my mind was Keira Knightley’s green dress in Atonement. This dress is the most gorgeous shade of green I have ever seen in a gown. I think that is partly why this dress is so popular, not only is the design beautiful, but the color really makes it memorable. Also shown are a few other items that are emerald green for 2013. 

Skulls

Hey, well I havent been posting regularly but I have been quite busy going to the dentist over the past month. I was just going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned but then I found out that I needed to get my bottom wisdom teeth removed. Getting them taken out didn't hurt as much as I thought they would. I thought my cheeks were  going to get really big and I was going to be in alot of pain but I only had a little pain the day they were taken out and not much swelling. 

I also found out that I might need braces again. :'( I had braces from 3rd grade to 7th grade because my teeth were really bad.  But by the time I got my braces off they looked way better then before, but my teeth were not completely fixed.  My teeth don't close all the way in the front so when I bite down my front teeth don't meet together. So the dentist I went to said I should meet with an orthodontist to see what we can do to fix it.  So yeah I'm not excited to get braces again but I do want to have really nice teeth. But I still need to meet with an orthodontist in 2 weeks  to see what they say but I think I will most likely get braces again.

I felt like getting dressed up today so I decided to wear one of my favorite dresses at the moment. I got this dress from H&M last year. I love how the dress has a mix of chiffon and pleather; the mix of materials makes this dress different form any other dress that I own.

I'm excited for next week because May 14 is my birthday. :)  Im going to be 20 years old! I can't believe that I'm not going to be a teenager anymore. I feel like it was yesterday that I was in middle school and I was obsessed with harry potter, I was reading digimon fan fiction (Yes, I love digimon), and I was watching the first season of Lost. :)

Favorite Jeffery Campbell Shoes

I adore my spiked Litas so much that I have been looking at other Jeffery Campbell shoes and adding them to my wishlist. Here are my top 4 favorites!

SHADOW STUD

This shoe is absolutely amazing! I adore the fact that these shoes are covered in spikes! ! I also like how there is no heel to these shoes, it makes them even more unique!

BACK OFF

I really love these because they remind me of my lace up boots that I already own and wear constantly. However, unlike the boots that i already have, these have a heel to them. I also really like the gold band at the bottom of the shoe.

LITA

Although I really love the shadow stud a lot, I think that these have to be my favorite. The fact that a shoe has cat faces on it is amazing. Now if only a shoe can have like T-Rex faces on it then I would be in heaven! I found like dinosaur skeleton printed shoes from Vans a few years ago, but they only came in mens sizes and I only ever saw them once. :'(

I think that these are so adorable. I love the lace print. I think that these are the most wearable out of all of the shoes Ive picked because these can be worn with cute girly dresses and with jeans.

Studs and Spikes

 

Right when I was about to go outside to take pictures of my outfit it started raining, so I took photos inside today. Anyways, today I really wanted to wear my spiked Litas that my mom got me for Christmas. I absolutely love these shoes! I'm also wearing a golden snitch necklace that my sister got me for Christmas. she got it from the Etsy store BellsNGems.
